【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverselectric-fusion-weldedsteelpipewithfillermetaladded,fabricatedfrompressurevesselqualityplateofseveralanalysesandstrengthlevelsandsuitableforhigh-pressureserviceatatmosphericandlowertemperatures.Heattreatmentmayormaynotberequiredtoattainthedesiredpropertiesortocomplywithapplicablecoderequirements.Supplementaryrequirementsareprovidedforusewhenadditionaltestingorexaminationisdesired.1.2Thespecificationnominallycoverspipe16in.(405mm)inoutsidediameterorlargerandof1/4in.(6.4mm)wallthicknessorgreater.Pipehavingotherdimensionsmaybefurnishedprovideditcomplieswithallotherrequirementsofthisspecification.1.3Severalgradesandclassesofpipeareprovided.1.3.1Gradedesignatesthetypeofplateusedaslistedin.1.3.2Classdesignatesthetypeofheattreatmentperformedduringmanufactureofthepipe,whethertheweldisradiographicallyexamined,andwhetherthepipehasbeenpressuretestedaslistedin1.3.3.1.3.3Classdesignationsareasfollows(Note1):Note1Selectionofmaterialsshouldbemadewithattentiontotemperatureofservice.Forsuchguidance,SpecificationA20/A20Mmaybeconsulted.1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.
